In 1999, a group of men from different walks of the world entered their first semester at Bloomfield College as strangers and four years later left as brothers. The birth of Chi Phi Sigma First Caribbean Fraternity, Inc was the manifestation of strong friendship developed amongst a group of men working to achieve a common goal-- academic success. Throughout the years, as the friendship strengthened, an identity emerged. This identity has since became an ever-evolving lineage called----Generation X
ΧΦΣ was founded on March 20th 2002 at Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, New Jersey. The Alpha chapter emerged just after the organization became established. The founders had a discipline for family-hood and its importance in a community. As a result the introduction of a sisterhood emerged on the belief that man is not complete without his counterpart. This reformation marked the birth of Chi Phi Sigma First Caribbean Fraternity & Sorority, Inc. established in 2002.

Chi Phi Sigma 1st Caribbean Fraternity & Sorority, Inc is not only an entity but a legacy. A foundation derived from friendship, familyhood and brotherhood. Different cultures, different walks and different studies but a common goal. It is evolutionary when people take valuable principles and silhouette into a tour de force.
